Passport Requirements

For U.S. Citizens:  All U.S. citizens participating in the retreat are responsible for ensuring they have a valid passport. Your passport must remain valid for at least six months beyond the date of your trip to Cartagena and must have at least one full blank page marked "VISA" for stamping purposes.

For Non-U.S. Citizens:  Guests holding passports from countries other than the United States should consult with the consulate of Colombia, or any other countries to be visited during the trip, to verify current entry requirements. Entry regulations can vary and may change, so it's important to confirm these details well in advance of your travel dates.

We strongly encourage all guests to review their passport and visa requirements early in their travel planning process to ensure a smooth and enjoyable travel experience. Doing so helps in avoiding any potential travel disruptions and contributes to a seamless and memorable retreat in Cartagena.

Travel Insurance Advisory

Please note that travel insurance is not included in your retreat package and, while not mandatory, is strongly recommended. Travel insurance can provide vital coverage in cases of trip cancellation or interruption, baggage loss or delay, and medical emergencies.

By proceeding with your reservation, you acknowledge that you have been informed about the option of purchasing travel insurance. You also recognize the potential risks involved in choosing not to protect your travel investment with insurance.

Registration Information

Guests are responsible for providing accurate and complete information during the registration process.  To ensure a smooth and enjoyable retreat experience, all guests are required to make reservations using the full name exactly as it appears on their passport.  In the event that a name change becomes necessary after your travel documents have been completed, please be advised that the guest will be responsible for any and all fees associated with the name change process, as imposed by third-party service providers.  We strongly recommend reviewing your reservation details thoroughly to avoid any potential issues or additional costs.

Payment, Deposit, and Refund Policy

Deposit Requirements:  A deposit is required at the time of reservation for the "Expedition of Love" retreat. Please note that all deposits are non-refundable.

Reinstatement of Reservations:  Should your reservation be canceled due to non-payment, you have the option to reinstate it within 10 days of cancellation. To do so, a reinstatement fee of $99 for domestic or $189 for international reservations will be applied to your balance. This fee must be paid upfront to proceed with the reinstatement of your reservation.  Please email us at info@thehealingcrestcounseling.com

Last Minute Reservations:  We accept reservations up to 30 days prior to the retreat's departure date. To accommodate last-minute reservations, the full payment must be completed at the time of booking, ensuring all guests are fully prepared for their upcoming experience.

Final Payment and Refund Policy:  All payments made to LaMora Pace and The Healing Crest® Counseling Services, including deposits and full payments, are final and non-refundable. By proceeding with your payment, you expressly acknowledge and agree with this policy. 

Liability Waiver for "Expedition of Love" Retreat

By participating in the "Expedition of Love" retreat in Cartagena, Colombia, guests expressly agree that LaMora Pace, The Healing Crest® Counseling Services, their staff, affiliates, and representatives shall not be held liable for any injuries, losses, or damages to personal property arising out of or in connection with the retreat activities. This waiver includes, but is not limited to, personal injuries, illnesses, and loss or damage of personal property, except in cases where exclusion of liability is not permitted by applicable law.

Photography and Media Consent

By participating in the retreat, guests consent to the use of photographs and video recordings taken during the event for promotional purposes by LaMora Pace, The Healing Crest®, and their designated media partners. This includes, but is not limited to, use in marketing materials, social media posts, and other publications.


Changes to the Retreat Plans

We reserve the right to make changes to the retreat schedule or activities due to unforeseen circumstances. We assure all guests that any necessary adjustments will be made with the intent to maintain, if not enhance, the overall quality and integrity of the retreat experience.

Service Animals

We understand the importance of service animals for assistance and support, and this decision has been made with careful consideration of the complexities involved in international destinations. However, due to specific logistical and regulatory challenges associated with international travel, we are unable to accommodate service animals.

Health Requirements for Travel

Consultation with Healthcare Providers: Prior to traveling, consult with your healthcare provider to obtain the most current health advisories and vaccination requirements. Additional health information can be obtained from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO).

Vaccination Documentation: In the event that vaccinations are required, it must be recorded on a vaccination certificate by a qualified health practitioner. This certificate should be in your possession throughout your travels, as it may be required for verification at certain junctures.

Protocol for Illness During Travel: If a guest presents with symptoms indicative of illness, such as fever or coughing and sneezing, at the start or during the retreat, the guest will be separated from the group to undergo a medical evaluation at a local medical facility. The guest may only rejoin the group contingent upon obtaining a medical clearance from a qualified healthcare provider.

Financial Responsibility for Medical Expenses: It is important to note that all expenses associated with medical consultations and treatment, in addition to any ancillary costs incurred, such as extended accommodation stays or alternative transportation, will be the responsibility of the registered guest.


Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Florida. Any disputes arising under these Terms & Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in the State of Florida. 

By registering for the "Expedition of Love" retreat, you are agreeing to these Terms & Conditions in their entirety.
